The major aim of the project is to develop a set of smart and innovative instruments to monitor and to assess the seafarers’ leadership competencies in recruitment and selection processes and further, onboard the ships, to overcome the challenges regarding the personnel performance coping with fatigue, stress, complex decision making-process, and diverse risk factors, for enhancing the competency toward an effective crisis management capability, contributing to a certain improvement of EU flag fleet competitiveness.
